In accordance with The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013, and the University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations 2015, our Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) includes four dedicated student representatives.
These student representatives are enrolled at the undergraduate, master's, and research scholar levels, respectively, and are elected through a transparent and democratic procedure. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the concerns and perspectives of students are actively represented in matters related to preventing and addressing sexual harassment.
Our WGDC-IC Student Representatives are committed to fostering a safe and respectful campus environment for all, and they work collaboratively with the committee to promote awareness, support survivors, and facilitate the resolution of cases when necessary.
