Leadership in Mental Health Programme

The programme is implemented by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Mohali, in collaboration with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.
LMHP builds a cadre of skilled mental health professionals who work alongside district administrations, de-addiction and rehabilitation centres, and OOAT (Outpatient Opioid Assisted Treatment) centres to strengthen Punjab's comprehensive response to substance use and addiction.
LMHP is a full-time fellowship of 24 months (2 years), based in Punjab. Selected candidates are placed in a district and are required to relocate to their assigned location.
