Congratulations to Dr Vineet Kapoor (IPS), Ph.D Alumni of Year2013-2017, on receiving the “Best Police Leadership Award” 2024 by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) at Boston, USA, on the 22nd October 2024.

The School of Law Rights and Constitutional Governance (SLRCG), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, Alumni - Placement Cell at the school level is delighted and proud to announce and congratulate on the celebrated achievement of Dr Vineet Kapoor, Ph.D Alumni of Year 2017 SLRCG, TISS, Mumbai, on receiving the “Best Police Leadership Award” for the “Srijan Programme of Madhya Pradesh Police Department on promoting youth-related community-oriented policing towards empowerment of girls living in slum areas” organized by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) 2024 ceremony held at the Boston on the 22nd October 2024.

Mr. Vineet Kapoor did his Ph.D research on “Human Rights Education and Role Orientation of the Police in Democracy: Critical Pedagogical Examination of selected police training institutions in India” under the guidance of Prof. Arvind Tiwari, Dean, SLRCG TISS, Mumbai. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2017.

The SLRCG, Alumni- Placement Cell places this information in compliance with the University Grants Commission (UGC), National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) requisite under the Alumni and the Ph.D research work undertaken at the University.
