Terror attacks and bomb blasts have increased over the last few decades. Mumbai has been wounded, scared and singed frequently since the 1990s. Coordinated support services beyond emergency care is absent. And for those affected, the incident is just a beginning of arduous uncertainties to follow………..

AAPTI supports survivors of 26/11 since 2008 through a range of services Facilitating recovery and building resilience:

Payment of Monthly Sustenance, Financial Support for Continued Health Care, Educational Support, Skill Training, Job Placement, Support for Micro Enterprise, Pensions, Interface with Govt. and NGOs to facilitate access to relief and support services, Integrated Psychosocial Support and Mental Health Services.

AAPTI has reached out to: over 250 families out of 410 affected in the 26/11 terror attack and 119 families affected during the 13/7 triple blasts.

AAPTI continues to work with the most marginalized survivors and affected families. Policy advocacy and networking of survivors are the key focus of long term interventions

AAPTI continues to reach out with these objectives:

  • Actively reaching out to the most vulnerable survivors and facilitate recovery processes.
  • Build a network of survivors and service providers to cater to long term needs, encourage mutual support and build self reliance
  • Advocate to mainstream key features of AAPTI
  • Documenting outcomes and learning to facilitate revision and replication by other stakeholders
