He is currently working as the Deputy Librarian and Head at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Tuljapur Off Campus, Maharashtra. He has gained more than Twenty Nine years of professional experience in Library administration, research & training. He has contributed Twenty nine papers in National & International Journals, Conference Proceedings and Book chapters. He also has four books (edited) to his credit.

On academic assignment he has visited Turkey and presented a paper in 47th Annual International Conference of International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) & 22nd International Forum on Research in School Librarianship organized on 6 – 11 May, 2018 at Istanbul, Turkey.

He is a recognized academic counselor for PGDALN, BLISc & MLISc programmes of IGNOU, New Delhi. He has actively participated in more than 50 national & international professional seminars/ workshops/conferences.

He has played an active role in the installation of KOHA Library Management Software across Four campuses of TISS & implemented RFID, a Cutting-edge Technology in TISS Tuljapur Off Campus.

He is a life member of professional bodies such as the Indian Library Association (ILA), Bombay Science Librarians Association (BOSLA), Library Professionals Association (LPA), New Delhi & Karnatak University Library & Information Association (KULISA), Dharwad.

His primary responsibilities are;

• Acquire, organize & disseminate the information
• Plan & monitor library budget
• Provide user training in evaluation & use of Print & E-resources effectively
• Liaise with other libraries including TISS libraries for resource sharing – ILL, DDS
• Analyze and evaluate library and information services and technology requirements
• Maintain and Upgrade Technology timely
• Develop & Maintain proper records of the Library, Formulate library rules and set up procedures
• Maintain the automated library system
• Provide value added services; E-mail alerts, manage Blog & Digital Library, Wi-Fi facility, Photocopy, Scanning etc.
• Develop and manage cost-effective library and information services, technology and media 
• Prepare reports related to library and information services
• Provide effective access to library collections and resources
• Responsible for the implementation of RFID technology
• Train & Supervise library staff etc.....
