Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Centre for Human Resources Management and Labour Relations (CHMR&LR), School of Management and Labour Studies (SMLS), TISS, Mumbai. I hold a Bachelors in Psychology from Amity University Noida, a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Psychology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP). I have cleared my UGC-NET in 2017 and UGC-JRF in 2019.
Prior to joining SMLS, I was an Assistant Professor at Mithibai College of Arts, Commerce, and Sciences (Autonomous) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, specialising in Industrial-Organisational Psychology. In addition to teaching courses such as Workplace Counselling, Multiculturalism, and Research Methodology for MA Psychology students, I was involved in various responsibilities, including serving as the Programme Coordinator for MA Psychology, T&P Coordinator for MA English, MA Economics, and MA Psychology, and acting as a Dissertation Guide for MA Psychology.
Before that, as a Senior Research Officer at iCALL, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), I played a role in the management of the Samvaad e-Learning Project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). My responsibilities included program management, training supervision, and overseeing baseline, midline, and endline studies. I also served as the Nodal Person for UNFPA-Madhya Pradesh, UNFPA-Rajasthan, National Health Mission (NHM), and iCALL, TISS, working closely with various Government stakeholders.
During my time as a Research Assistant with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI), I led the pilot study for the evaluation of the District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) in Bihar and also acted as a liaison between the Principal Secretary of Bihar and the ADRI Project Head.
I began my academic career as an Assistant Professor at Amity University Mumbai, where I taught a range of courses in both undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programs. In addition to teaching, I undertook various responsibilities such as fieldwork supervision, and serving as a dissertation guide.
I approach my work with a commitment to academic excellence and a genuine passion for contributing to the fields of psychology and research. I look forward to continuing my journey of learning and growth in these areas.
