Dr Priyanka Kothari is an assistant professor at the Labour Market Research Facility of School of Management and Labour Studies at the Tata Institute odf Social Sciences, Mumbai. She received her PhD and MSc in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute (Delhi Centre). She did her BS (Hons.) in Economics from the IP College for Women, University of Delhi. Her research interest spans industrial organization, applied game theory, behavioral economics, and experimental economics. She is actively involved in teaching courses like micro economics, mathematics, logic and scientific methods, industrial economics, econometrics, justice welfare and institutions, macro economics at both undergraduate and post graduate level. Prior to joining TISS, Mumbai she has also worked with Jindal Global Business School (O P Jindal University), Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy (University of Mumbai), Shiv Nadar University, South Asian University and Symbiosis School of Economics. She is also a columinist with the Wire.
