ABOUT:
Mr. Ganpati K Chadre has been working as a Social Worker at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Tuljapur Campus since 2008. He is recognized as a comprehensive self-motivated, goal-oriented and dedicated social worker with excellent communication skills, excellent leadership skills, program management and organizational skills with over 15 years of experience in grassroots rural development as well as social and administrative sectors.
With a background in social work, community organization and rural development, he has successfully held the responsibilities of social worker and project coordinator in 10 field action projects, 5 research projects and several missions and initiatives like sustainable agriculture, watershed management, and COVID-19. He has trained over 3000 people including Sarpanchs, Women SHG Members, Farmers, Government Officials, NGO representatives and students on PRA Watershed Development, Organic Farming, Rainwater Harvesting, Jal Jeevan Mission, Child Marriage, as a State Level Master Trainer and Subject Expert In addition, he organized and actively participated in different trainings, workshops, conferences, webinars, and seminars, as well as serving as a resource person in a variety of social work fields.
He is working on field action projects and also they conduct PRA classes for BA & MA students from 2018 onwards. He coordinates the fieldwork of the MASW Rural Development and Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship courses. He has successfully responsibility handled 823 student fieldwork coordinators and 161 student fieldwork supervisors. He works as a member of various committees on campus as well as a representative of TISS on various administrative committees at the district and taluka levels. He likes to do various challenging tasks. He has also received various awards as the best social worker at the state, district, and taluka levels for his outstanding work in the social sector. He has participated in the Faculty Development Program on Social Work Education in India: Issues and Challenges - 2019 as well as National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 Community Engagement - 2022.
He was selected as the Young Social Worker for the 2011 India-China Youth Exchange Program in China by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India for his outstanding work in the social sector. He had the privilege of felicitating the Honorable President of China Wen Jiabao by donning a Gandhi cap on behalf of the Indian youth. His interviews on various topics have been aired on various TV channels and Akashvani Kendra (FM) radio. He was given the opportunity to present the Field Action Project at the 167th Governing Body meeting held at TISS in Mumbai on April 5, 2013.

1. TISS Tuljapur Campus received the State Level Vasantrao Naik Shetimitra Award given under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra. I was able to make a valuable contribution in this work.
2. TISS Tuljapur Campus received the "Runner Up" of the Star Campus Awards 2022-23 in the "Beyond the Campus" Category for your outstanding contribution to environmental action and social engagements. 2022-2023. Institute gave me the important responsibility to submit the proposal for the award. I was able to make a valuable contribution in this work. This is my most important third achievement.
3. As the Hearing Authority in Sindphal Gram Panchayat vs TISS Tuljapur Rs 2, 17,66,429/- (Two Crore Seventeen Lakh Sixty Six thousand Four hundred Twenty Nine) Tax Case, the Institute Authority gave me a significant responsibility. As the hearing authority in this case, I was able to perform the important duties of collecting the necessary documents, preparing the TISS statement in Marathi and presenting the skillfully. Hence TISS won this important case. This is my biggest first achievement this year.
4. TISS as a member of District Level Organic Farming Committee imparted organic farming training to 4000 farmers in the district in collaboration with SP Office, Collector's Office, District Agriculture Office and NGOs, at the same time; it has played an important role in creating a market for organic farming products for the farmers.
5. Through Community Sustainable Development field action project 125 women's goat rearing groups and 100 women organic production groups were established as agriculture allied activities. The goat rearing group has raised nearly Rs 4 lakh 50 thousand and from that amount has completed the process of inducting 50 additional landless, marginal land holders and widow women into the group. Through these two groups, women have been provided with a sustainable means of livelihood.

7. Successfully coordinated the India's Techade-Chips for Viksit Bharat live streaming speech program of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Government of India held on 13 March 2024.
8. Delivered public lecture on Personality Development was given to 6000 youths at ITI Osmanabad in the district level Yuva Shakti Career Melava organized by the Department of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Government of Maharashtra.
