Chandrakant Gangurde is with TISS since 1993 and is presently serving as Professional Assistant. He is a commerce graduate and has completed his Master’s in Library and Information Science (2013) from Madurai Kamaraj University,Tamil Nadu, and Post Graduate  Diploma in Library and Information Management (2011)from TISS Mumbai.

His major contributions at TISS library managing information and providing on user demand. He worked for Circulation Section user study, Periodical Section, Journal subscription and presently for the MK Tata learning Centre for Visually challenges making awareness of Assistive Technology and software among visually challenge user. He has Library professional experience of 27 years in the organization. Liaison Librarian” for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policies for research support services

He was executive member of Bombay Library Association (BOSLA) ,He was participated in  24 National and International Conference, Seminar, Workshop and published 3 Articles.
