Urban Environmental Health  is a subset of urban health concerned with all aspects of the natural and built environment that may affect human health in the cities, preventing diseases and promoting well being of the population. Challenges of inequality in urban space persist, and health of the urban poor has not been a priority to the local governments but a response to emergencies.
