National Sports Day 2026 | Khelo India Dialogue

On the occasion of National Sports Day 2026, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) hosted the Khelo India Dialogue in association with My Bharat Mumbai, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.

The programme featured the address of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to the youth through video conferencing at 11:00 am.

The dialogue brought together students of and youth around the themes of sports, fitness, youth leadership and nation-building, inspiring young people to actively contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

More than 300 students participated in the online program across the campuses.

Following the programme, sr. officials of the Institute also  echoed the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s message and emphasised the importance of sports and physical fitness in the holistic development of students and youth. He encouraged students to actively participate in sports and make physical well-being an integral part of their lives.

TISS was proud to facilitate this national youth engagement programme and provide its students an opportunity to be part of the National Sports Day 2026 celebrations.
