Megh-Mudra 2026 — A Celebration of Talent, Joy and Togetherness

On 3 October 2026, the TISS Convention Centre came alive as more than 700 students gathered for Megh-Mudra 2026—a vibrant celebration of music, dance, theatre, poetry and fashion. Almost 400 students performed on the platform of Meghmudra on various group and individual cultural performance.

The event was inaugurated by our Chief Guest Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Professor Badri Narayan Tiwari where he talked about Youth Cultural Awards to encourage creativity among students. The Dean Prof. M. Mariappan gave the inaugural address to students community, Associate Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Vaishali Kolhe gave the welcome address and congratulated student council members . The Assistant Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Josephine Anthony, and Student Council members were present for the inaugration of the annual fest of TISS. 

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor  has expressed about the Youth Cultural awards and congratulated the students community for organising the Meghmudra with celebration of diversity and creativity at the TISS community.

Highlights included:

The official launch of TISS Musical Band 'Raagaaz & Rhythm' dipicting the story of TISS students journey of Musical band of one year in the form of Music book.

A showcase of student talent: From poetry and classical dance to solo and group performances, soulful singing, flute, rap and class performances, the stage reflected the diverse talents of students from across TISS.

The TISS Band: Bringing music and audience together, the band lifted the energy and kept the spirit of Megh-Mudra alive throughout the evening.

More than a cultural programme, Megh-Mudra was a celebration of togetherness, inclusion and creative expression.
A heartfelt appreciation to the student core committee and every performer whose enthusiasm and talent made the night extraordinary.
