The pervasiveness nature of gender discrimination is prominent among differently-abled women. To understand the impact of such an intersectionality, critical lenses are required. The manifestations of the gendered experiences of differently-abled women are partucluarly significant in the recent times with the world coming to a standstill due to COVID19 pandemic. With the lack of accessibility to critical resources, the differently-abled women are exposed to multitude of vulnerablities that are economic, social, health and cultural in nature. The talk by Prof. Anita Ghai will delve into these concerns and sensitize us towards the gendered experiences of differently-abled women.
