Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad campus is happy to announce the 8th Annual Convocation for its 2020-22 graduating Master’s students on 7th January, 2023.  A total of students 138 will receive their Master’s degree in  Education, Public Policy and Governance, Natural Resources and Governance, Development Studies, and, Rural Development and Governance, and Women’s Studies.

Prof. T C A Anant will grace the Convocation ceremony as the Chief Guest.  A Member of the prestigious Union Public Service Commission since 2019, Prof. Anant is a renowned Academician and has served as the Head, Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics. Earlier, he was appointed as the Chief Statistician of India, and Secretary, with the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation from 2010-2018.

Prof. Anant also was a Member Secretary of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), from 2006-2009.  Prof Anant has served on Expert Committees of various Ministries and Agencies of the Government of India, the Reserve Bank of India, the Competition Commission of India, Councils and Boards of several Universities as well as international organisations.
