TISS recently concluded registration of its incubation center – 'TISS Incube Foundation' under the Section 8(1) of the Companies Act 2013. The Foundation will continue to build on the legacy of the Social Incubation Center of TISS Mumbai. So far it has successfully incubated more than 50 start-ups and is official Knowledge partner to BIRAC for its prestigious SIIP programme and THINK-B, the Incubation Centre of District Administration of Bastar, Chhattisgarh. It is also actively involved with CHINAR International in the UT of J&K helping young entrepreneurs build a sustainable enterprise and with TRIFED in the state of Maharashtra helping tribals create group enterprises based on the Minor Forest Produce. TISS Incube Foundation will continue to focus on remote and difficult areas helping promulgate the spirit of entrepreneurship.
