TISS celebrated World Environment Day/Week on 20th May 2026.

As part of our commitment towards environmental sustainability and Mission LIFE initiatives, a tree plantation drive was organized on 20 May 2026 at the Institute from the university community  with great enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental awareness and sustainability. 

The campaign witnessed the gracious presence of Prof. Badri Narayan Tiwari, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Narendra Mishra, Officiating Registrar, Prof. M. Mariappan, Dean, Students’ Affairs, Dr. Vaishali Kolhe, Associate Dean, Students’ Affairs, Prof. Bal Rakshase, Campus Director, Tuljapur Campus, along with faculty members, students, and staff, actively participated in the plantation drive and reaffirmed their commitment towards a greener and healthier future.

The programme highlighted the importance of protecting our environment and encouraged everyone to contribute towards a greener and healthier future. The event was marked by active participation, awareness activities, and a collective pledge to preserve nature for future generations.
