On 20 September, the TISS Convention Centre came alive with the vibrant spirit of Megh-Mudra 2025 - a heartfelt revival of a cherished tradition that celebrates unity in diversity through music, dance, theatre, poetry, and fashion.
The event was inaugurated by our Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Professor Badri Narayan Tiwari, along with Professor Sunil Damodaran Santha (Dean, Academic Affairs) and Dr. Vaishali Kolhe (Associate Dean, Student Affairs), bringing together over 600 students in a powerful display of creativity and collaboration.
Highlights included:
The official launch of the TISS student music band – Raagaaz & Rhythm
Energetic cultural performances by students from across programmes
A stunning fashion show themed Modern vs Traditional
Soulful poetry, theatre, and musical performances by both freshers and seniors
What made Megh-Mudra truly special? It wasn’t a competition - it was a celebration of togetherness, creative expression, and the shared values of inclusivity, social justice, and cultural harmony that define the spirit of TISS.
Celebrating the enthusiasm and talent of the student core committee and every performer who made this night extraordinary.
