Rehabilitation requires more than confinement—it requires opportunity.
A recent Times of India feature highlights how vocational training programmes can support incarcerated individuals in rebuilding their lives through meaningful skills and employment pathways. Since March 2021, the JSW Dulux Academy initiative, implemented in collaboration with Prayas A Field Action Project of TISS , has been contributing to this effort across prisons in Maharashtra, with further expansion planned.
At TISS, we remain committed to advancing evidence-based approaches that promote rehabilitation, inclusion and social justice.
