Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, which aims to improve access, equity, and excellence. In the last 4.5 years, over 2500 projects worth more than Rs 13000 crores have been approved, which is expected to benefit 50 lakh students.

In a PAN India event on 3rd February 2019 at 3:10 p.m, Honourable Prime Minister would digitally lay the foundation stone inaugurate/announce projects worth over Rs. 3000 crores, that are supported under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). The event would be held in Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC), Srinagar.
