Dr. Madhura Nagchoudhuri is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Disability Studies and Action from 2008 onwards.She has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology followed by an MSW from College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan, University of Mumbai. She completed her PhD in Social Work from George Warren Brown School of Social Work, Washington University in St. Louis, USA.
She has also done a brief stint as a Linnaes Palme fellow at University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Currently she serves as Deputy Director for the iCBR Project which is a field action project of the Centre for Disability Studies and Action, School of Social Work. She is also involved in perspective building and sensitization workshop for persons with disability on Campus and other spaces in Mumbai and elsewhere (Challenging Challenges : Disability Sensitization Workshops).
