Inaugural Ceremony of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Multipurpose Store at TISS Campus

On 22 May 2024, the Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Multipurpose Store was inaugurated at the TISS Mumbai campus. The event marked a significant milestone in enhancing campus facilities for students and staff.

The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ritual, followed by garlanding the photos of the mahapurush, Dr. Ambedkar. Prof. Shankar Das (Pro Vice Chancellor, TISS) inaugurated the store.

A special blessing was given by the Venerable Bhadant Viratna Mahathero (Working President, Bhartiya Bhikkhu Sangh), a renowned Buddhist Dhammguru.

The store offers stationery, books, and other essentials, providing a convenient shopping option within the Campus. It is envisioned as a hub that not only meets practical needs, but also fosters a sense of community among the TISS populace.
