Welcome to CLIx Open Day!

The Connected Learning Initiative (CLIx) is a partnership of several organisations and four state governments, seeded by the TATA Trusts and led by TISS and MIT. CLIx has innovated and developed resources and practices using technology thoughtfully in curriculum and pedagogy for high school students and for teacher professional development at a scale. In March 2018, CLIx was awarded the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa prize for use of ICT to increase access to quality education.

CLIx offers fifteen modules for high school students in Communicative English, Science, Mathematics, Digital Literacy in Hindi, Telugu and English, and six courses for Teacher Professional Development. Over the past three years, CLIx has activated 461 IT labs in schools, and worked with 2394 Teachers and 32,437 students, in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana.

The CLIx Open Day brings to you live demoes and samples of our work for you
• to experience,
• to interact with the designers and researchers,
• to talk to teachers who have been a part of the programme
• and learn about the processes and challenges of implementation on the field.
