Objective of the workshop:-

Financial Literacy for Senior Citizens, programme by EnRich, is designed to promote Financial Literacy and Education amongst Senior Citizens. The objectives of this workshop is to attempt to equip Senior Citizens with the necessary tools, knowledge and confidence to take sound financial decisions, for themselves and their families.


Structure of the Session:-

The session would be interactive in nature and the attempt would be to seek and elicit more responses and feedback from the participants. The session will cover important aspects of Financial Management as relevant for Senior Citizens such as Will Making, Taxation, Importance of Communication, Continuous Knowledge building etc. There will be a team based activity followed by Question and Answer Session at the end.


Brief Profile of the Facilitator:

Parameshwaran Narayanaswamy (Prasad) has more than 15 years of Experience in Stock Market having worked with top tier institutions such as the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd, JP Morgan & Barclays. He was head of Institutional Securities Compliance at Barclays till August 2016. He is currently an independent investor in the Stock Market and active Volunteer supporting Non Profit Organisations and Charitable Institutions.


He is also the founder of EnRich, a platform aimed at promoting Financial Literacy and Education and regularly conducts programmes on Financial Literacy. He believes that the Indian Education system does not equip people with appropriate skill sets required for managing their own Finances. EnRich is an attempt a humble attempt to try and address this important lacunae.


Parameshwaran is a Chartered Accountant by education having graduated in the year 2008. He has also completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Securities Law from the Government Law College, Mumbai.
