The speaker
Dr. Aniket Sule has been with Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE-TIFR) since 2006, currently serving as an Associate Professor. His basic training has been in Physics and Astrophysics, with a B.Sc. (Phy) from Mumbai University, M.Sc (Phy) from IIT Bombay and doctorate in natural sciences from Astrophysical Institute Potsdam in Germany. His present research focuses on the history of astronomy in India, Astronomy Education and Mathematics Education. He is the general secretary of International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics and Chair of Public Outreach and Education Committee of Astronomical Society of India.
