Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), jointly with the ICCSA foundation, is organising one day capacity building workshop on “Methane Emission from Landfill and Waste”. The workshop aims to enhance awareness and knowledge about the prospectus of reduction of methane emission from improved landfill and waste management sectors. The participants of the workshop will have opportunity to gain valuable insights about methane monitoring techniques, mitigation strategies and best practices of managing methane from landfill and waste sectors. The workshop will invite experts, professionals, and researchers in the field and will be a useful platform for knowledge exchange, networking and collaboration. We invite applications from students, professionals, researchers working in the field to participate the one-day workshop. There is no registration fee to attend the workshop, however, a prior registration is required in order to manage the logistics. TISS will provide accommodation and food arrangements for the participants.
