Two books with contributions from a TISS faculty member and a research scholar are being launched at the Social Work Education and Social Development Conference (SWESD 2022 ) in Seoul on 27 October 2022 at 1.00 pm (IST).
The first is a book on "Remaking Social Work for the New Global Era" edited by Prof. Tiong Ngoh Tan [Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)] and Prof. P.K. Shajahan (Dean Academic Affairs, TISS).
The second is a chapter contribution by Prof. Shajahan, Mr. Avadh Bihari (Ph.D. Research Scholar at School of Social Work, TISS Mumbai) and Mr. Ayush Prasad (CEO, Akola) in the book "Digital Transformation and Social Well-Being: Promoting an Inclusive Society".
Both books are part of Prof. Shajahan's work with the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) and the International Council on Social Welfare, two global academic associations that he is part of.
