One Day Alumni Meet Of LLM Students Of One Year Masters Program In Access To Justice

On the glorious occasion of the upcoming 82nd convocation of TISS, Mumbai, the School of Law School Rights and Constitutional Governance(SLRCG) is completing its 10th academic year. During this one decade commencing from 2013 till 2023 onwards, SLRCG has grown exponentially in terms of enrichment of curriculum, increasing strength of students, expanding clinical legal fieldwork across the State of Maharashtra, across other regions in India. Our field-based dissertations have been covering contemporary socio-legal issues for law-policy reform. As our 9th batch of our LL.M students, Access to Justice, are graduating during this Convocation as scheduled on 11th February 2023, On this occasion, SLRCG would like to take this opportunity to connect with all our alumni of a first and foremost batch from the year 2013 and subsequent previous batches to the current graduating batch of 2022. It is a matter of great pride to share that our alumni have taken up distinguished professional avenues in various facets.

In light of this, the school of law like to organise a "One Day Alumni Meet Of LLM Students Of One Year Masters Program In Access To Justice on 11th February (Saturday) 2023, TISS, Mumbai", on the day of convocation to bring together the alumni with the present batch of LL.M students of 2023.It is to be noted that the SLRCG is organising these alumni meet to keeping this the Alumni Affairs Cell of Tata Institute of Social Sciences(TISS) and further reinforces boosting alumni "University Grants Commission" Circular on " Student Career Progression & Alumni Network" 2019, Further, the UGC 2021 circular dated 13th January 2021 subject alumni connect initiative introduced in order to encourage Indian HEIs to engage with Alumni. The UGC alumni connect initiative lays emphasis on organizing networking get-togethers (at least through video conferencing). The National Education Policy(NEP) 2020 underlines the expanding of global outreach 0f Indian higher education institutions with their alumni. The NEP,2020 states that the Alumni are strong support to the institution. An active Alumni Association can contribute in academic matters, student support as well as mobilization of resources. The UGC G20 University Connect: Engaging Young Minds, Ministry of External Affairs Government of India highlights alumni associations with their alma mater. The alumni data and alumni activity are required annually for statutory compliance under NIRF, and NAAC submissions by the school.
