Innovation and perseverance in humanitarian work are crucial now more than ever in today’s challenging contexts. The long-term impacts of service organizations often depend on their innovation abilities in a constantly and ever-changing environment. Successful innovation and the introduction of new interventions can play a vital role in social sector development in society.
This conference presents a brief overview of the innovation concept in unsettled times and its impact on social empowerment and development. Presentations will be offered on multiple innovative theoretical approaches to examining key critical areas for advancing social empowerment and development.
Exemplars of preferred practice models from a variety of organizations and countries around the world are presented illustrate effective innovation.
