It gives us immense pleasure to share that on the Film and Literary Club (FLC) at the School of Development Studies, has organized एक साँझ: कविता और संगीत का इंद्रधनुष with prominent poets अनुराधा सिंह, विजय कुमार, और अश्वनी कुमार. It will be followed by Open- Mike of students reciting poetry & celebrating National Hindi Day in India. Vrnda Dhar, along with student members of Film and Literary Club will coordinate the session.

Anuradha Singh is a widely known Hindi poet and translator. Recipient of the prestigious 15th Sheela Siddhantkar Samman for her poetry collection Ishwar Nahin Neend Chahiye, she has translated reputed literary works of Maya Angelou, June Jordan and others.

Vijay Kumar is an eminent Hindi poet, critic and translator and has been actively involved with major Hindi magazines all over the country. His more than 200 hundred articles, translations and book reviews have been published in all the important Hindi periodicals in the country. His poems have also appeared in Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Bengali, Urdu and English.

The Literary Musical Evening is curated by Prof Ashwani Kumar, Dean, School of Development Studies and a prominent Indian poet whose works have been translated into several Indian and foreign languages.

# The Film and Literary Club of the School of Development Studies was founded in 2018 with the aim of promoting Art, Culture, Literature, and Music on the Campus of TISS- Mumbai. Faculty mentors of FLC are Prof Ashwani Kumar, Prof Ritambhara Hebbar and Parthasarthi Mondal.
