Prayas is organising a one day training programme for prison officers on Monday, 17th October, 2022, from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm, at the Daulatrao Jadhav Jail Officers Training School, Yerawada, Pune. This is part of the series of such trainings being organised by Prayas for prison officers over the next 6 months. The topics for the first training are legal aid, release on bail and probation and the role of prison staff. The resource persons include the Secretary, District Legal Service Authorties, Pune and the Probation Superintendent, Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra.
